This morning in nutty dog ownership. Apparently there were treats on the counter.

When you turn on your stove it will smell like dog butt.

I laughed way to hard at this...

I was just helping you dispose of those treats. You're welcome.
I know all too well about leaving anything within reach. Any thing left out will be gone when I get home. The only place I can put something is in the microwave (like bread, for instance). Even on top of the fridge, one of my dogs will jump on the counter then manage to pull it off of the fridge.

I think the key word here is 'were'...
Good looking doge, by the way!

The dangers of having a smart breed of dog... I have 2 German Shepherds, they don't need to get on the counter to get treats they can get to the counter top with all 4 feet on the floor. Thank God they tend to keep each other busy instead of having to "find something to do"...

That stove is entirely for show.

I have five dogs myself. Two labs, a coonhound, a beagle, and a pit.
One of my labs is tall enough to get the countertop on all fours.
The one that's the biggest nudge is actually my smallest, the beagle. Small is relative, she's still 40 lbs. She's the one that ends up getting on the counter, I think.
When there's no food for them to get, my dogs are fairly well behaved. They'll entertain themselves for the most part. As evidenced by toys strewn throughout the house when I get home.

We use Munchery and Sprig, and I live in SOMA right near a bunch of good restaurants. In all seriousness, it was last used to make Thanksgiving dinner in 2013. (Which, after typing, is tough for me to believe too but there you go.)

My cat needs to destroy any and all cardboard items he finds. If I buy something online, I can't open up the box and leave it alone for more than 10 minutes before I hear scratch scratch scratch chomp chomp scratch .
